In what will probably be looked at as a bad decision in the near future, KFC has decided to sell artificial logs for fireplaces that emit the aroma of their "World Famous" Kentucky fried chicken. A representative for the company was quoted as saying:
"At KFC, we have always been proud of our role in bringing loved ones together at the dinner table around a bucket of our world-famous fried chicken"
I mean who doesn't think of greasy fried chicken when sitting near a fire during the holiday season? It's too early to tell if this idea is going to be a bang or a bust, but I won't be burning one anytime soon.
In a tweet from the company's official account, KFC announced the log:
Introducing the 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog from Enviro-Log®, the best way to make a fire smell less like fire and more like fried chicken. Get yours today at https://t.co/u2baCmHQYF. pic.twitter.com/y4TRf4cqQs

This isn't the first bizarre marketing campaign from the Colonel however, in 2016 KFC gave away 3,000 free bottles of Colonel Sanders' Extra Crispy Sunscreen, a sunscreen that left the wearer smelling like fried chicken. Believe it or not, the lotion sold out very quickly.
Back in November, KFC also announced their Fried Chicken and Waffles which has gotten mixed reviews, but mostly positive ones.
